Ministries

Children

“Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” –  Proverbs 22:6

At Pleasant Hill, we share a deep passion to teach children the way of the cross. We are fully aware of the importance of ministry not only to children, but to families and the congregation as a whole. Our volunteers utilized Bible-based lessons and activities to lead children to Christ and follow Him faithfully.

Youth

No one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born again. Our redemption has been accomplished solely by the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, and we believe that sharing this message to the world is our sole mission. Our group never shies away from discussing the many modern-day obstacles that our youth face, and we look to have plenty of fun along the way as we encourage them to grow and mature in their walk with Christ.

Women Alive

Women Alive is a small-group mission organization that emphasizes God’s command to help those in need. During the meetings ladies learn about missionaries and the ministries that are being supported by the Southern Baptist Convention. Women Alive demonstrates the love of God by participating in mission projects that aid local, national and international causes. The meetings are informal and includes a time for food and fellowship. The group is open to any lady who has a heart for helping those in need. Please join us in this important calling!

Golden Circle

Golden Circle is a groups existing to provide a once-a-month gathering for senior citizens of our church. Theses times of fellowship often include eating lunch together and exploring interesting places. We usually meet on the third Thursday of each month.

Music Ministry

The primary purpose of our music ministry is to glorify God, to lift His name up on high and to proclaim Jesus’ love and message through music and worship. Our blended services are centered around God’s Word while utilizing the many talents of our adult and children’s choir, praise team, and others!

Brazilian Ministry

The Brazilian ministry was created in September of 2015. Our goal is to serve the dynamic Portuguese-speaking community in Campbellsville and surrounding areas. The group meets regularly once a month for worship and once a week for a fun soccer match in the CLC. Contact Denis Santos to know more about this ministry.
